One side is closed like a traditional grilling grate, great for grilling burgers, seafood. and steaks. The other side is open, allowing you to hang your favorite cuts of meat(s)such as ribs, pork butt, or vegetables using hooks.
Using one side for grilling and the other side hanging gives you the best of both worlds.
